Kees Kroon has a background in hotel and restaurant management, but later in his career discovered that working in tourism with people on holidays was more giving. Since 2010 he has mostly been working free-lance as authorised city guide in Bergen, Norway  for a local company called "Bergen By Expert". In 2025 he decided to broaden his horizon by starting his own company providing local guided tours in Bergen as well as in the region. Kees also takes on tour management assignments for foreign and domestic travelagencies, in Scandinavia or other European countries.
